Hi! I’m MC, a lover of all things bookish, a Disney freak, and the proud owner of the best cat in the universe.
I grew up in the Age of Harry Potter, and I will forever be rereading the series through the eyes of a child. Who wants to grow up, anyway? I have a large TBR pile, and I will never participate in any kind of endeavors to reduce the number of books I have to read. I love being surrounded by books, both read and unread. The books I’ve already read are like old friends that have kept me company through the years. And my TBR pile opens the door to endless possibilities. Whenever I want, I can turn to my shelf and pick out a new adventure to go on, a new world to travel to, new friends who may end up changing my whole life.
My favorite genres to read are Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Dystopian and Historical Fiction. I prefer to use my books as an escape from the real world, so typically anything that takes place in another realm is right up my alley. I read both Young Adult and Adult novels, and I do enjoy a Contemporary book from time to time, although romance isn’t typically my thing. I started my blog, Blame It On The Books, in June of 2015, and now I am so excited to be a part of Cornerfolds!
