My week began celebrating the release of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child! Gee at Books and a Cup of Coffee did a recap of the event for anyone who’s interested! I was the only one in our group who wore my Hogwarts robes, but I can assure you there was a huge group of people who were similarly outfitted. There was also a hilarious Gilderoy Lockhart cosplay! Unfortunately, I didn’t end up loving the book, but the experience was incredible!
The rest of my week was pretty uneventful. A lot of working and playing with the puppies! My copy of The Beauty of Darkness came on Tuesday and WOW was it bigger than I thought it would be! The other two books in the series were just under 500 pages each and book three is pushing 700! It has taken some time to get into it and it’s seriously eating into my ARC August reading time, but I’m excited!
Next week my brother will be visiting so I may be a little slower to reply to comments (but maybe not?). I’m not sure what all we’re planning to do, but I’ll be sure to update if we do anything super exciting! (I’m expecting that Butterbeer will be involved.)
The topic was foreign editions I’d love to have for Top Ten Tuesday
