Well… as you can see, I have a new blog design as of today! I’ve known it was coming and I’m pretty excited that it’s finally here! It combines my love for books with my love for Disney in a super subtle way that I think is just awesome! Actually, this month is bringing a lot of excitement! More of that to come with my weekly updates…

But right now I’m excited to announce that I’ll be participating in the Love for Books Read-a-thon this month. This read-a-thon is hosted by Novel Heartbeat and will run from Monday, February 8th through Sunday, February 15th. There will be at least one mini challenge sometime during the week and a small giveaway at the end.

This is only my second ever read-a-thon (the first being HoHoHoRAT) and I can’t wait! It’s going to be a super busy week, so my goals are going to be pretty small.

  1. Read two books and listen to one audiobook
  2. Participate in the mini challenge
  3. Have fun!

Well, it seems like this is not going quite as anticipated. I took an unexpected trip to San Fransisco, which really put a wrench in my read-a-thon plans. Here’s my book progress:
